2. Parent Meeting
Running a virtual pre-camp parents meeting is one of the easiest ways to dramatically increase attendance, clarity, and trust without adding logistical stress.
Parents are busy, and giving them the option to join from home, on their own device, removes barriers and makes it far more likely they’ll actually show up and engage. A virtual meeting also allows you to record the session, so families who can’t attend live still receive the same message, eliminating miscommunication.
Most importantly, it positions your program as organized, modern, and professional while ensuring every parent hears consistent expectations about schedules, safety, and communication, setting the tone for a smoother, more successful camp experience.
Below is an example of a parent meeting that you may replicate. It comes from the Hope College Summer Tennis Academy.
